Side 1 features a new sound in guitar - the "Octabass Guitar" developed by Chet and Jimmie Webster. The two bass strings are replaced by A and E bass-guitar strings. This results in an expanded frequency range of one octave, and when played (finger style), sounds very like a guitar and bass duet.
